Through an IDEA Discretionary Grant from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, CESA 12 is implementing an induction program for new special educators.
Six sessions of “just-in-time” professional learning will be provided as part of this program. Sessions will be full day trainings.
Topics include:
- Explicit Instruction
- Student Engagement
- Social Emotional Skills
- Comprehensive Special Education Evaluation
- IEP development and meeting facilitation
- Progress monitoring
